APPLIES TO:

By default, the built-in deinterlacer is enabled on professional level Teradek encoders.
Interlaced video input formats (e.g. 1080i59.94 or 1080i50) will be automatically converted to progressive frames (1080p30 or 1080p25).
To stream encoded video in an interlaced format instead of progressive, you must disable the deinterlacer.
To disable this setting from the Web UI:
- go to Video Setup , Device Settings, under Deinterlacer select Disabled, then click Apply
To disable from the LCD / Front Panel menu:
- Press the black Menu button, select A/V Setup, Device Settings, Deinterlacer, Disabled, select Y to apply the setting, then click the red Stream button to Apply the setting
