Decoder Setup (Web GUI)
- Network
- The decoder should be static IP on your local network or on the public internet.
- If you are behind a firewall, port forward 9710 (or your determined port) to forward to port 9710 (or your determined port) of the Cube Decoder using TCP/UDP protocol (as set by the Cubes).
- Video Settings
- Navigate to Video Setup>Decoder Settings
- Set mode to MPEG TS
- Set type as TCP (as applicable)
- Set Port (generally 9710)
- Set Jitter Buffer as needed
Encoder Setup (Web GUI)
- Network
- The encoder can have any IP as long as it's able to push a stream out port 9710 (or your determined port).
- Video Settings
- Navigate to Video Setup>Stream Settings
- Set mode to MPEG TS
- Set type as TCP (as applicable)
- Set Port (generally 9710)
- Enter in the IP address of your public IP (either the router address or the address of the Cube)
Troubleshooting
- Try to do the setup on a local network first to verify
- Check under Info>Decoder Information to see if any frames are coming through. You may have to restart the video once.
