You can use the Vidiu X to combine the bandwidth of multiple internet sources (such as ethernet, WiFi and cellular modems) to get the maximum possible bandwidth for your streaming location with Teradek’s Sharelink service. This allows you to stream at higher quality and with more stability.
Before you get started, be sure to sign up for a Sharelink account at sharelink.tv.
Power on your Vidiu X and connect to multiple internet sources. This can be a combination of ethernet, [WiFi (client mode)] and/or cellular modem via the USB interface.
Connect to your Vidiu X via the Vidiu app or the web interface.
In the Vidiu app, tap the three dots in the upper right corner to enter the settings page.
Tap Streaming.
Tap Configure Destination.
Tap Sharelink.
Tap the button with the code to copy it and tap Login to open the Sharelink login page.
Log into your Sharelink account. You will enter the main interface.
Under the Video sources tab in the VidiUs section, tap Add New Vidiu.
In the window that pops up, paste the code you copied into the field and tap Add.
Choose the closest streaming service region to you and tap Complete & Add.
When you return to the Vidiu app’s Sharelink destination page, your Vidiu X will automatically start bonding your multiple internet connections.
You’ll need to set up your streaming destinations from the Sharelink Website. Please refer to [these tutorials on using Sharelink].
Tap on the back button on the upper right three times and tap Done to return to the main control screen.
Once your destinations have been added, you will be able to tap Go Live to start streaming to all added destinations.
