While you can create a Youtube Live streaming event via Airmix, you get the most control in event options by creating an event within Youtube Studio on the Youtube website. Here, we will show you how to create an event from scratch.
First, in a web browser, make sure you’re logged into the Youtube account and channel that you’re streaming to.
If on your iPad or iPhone, tap on the view options on the left of the address bar and tap Request Desktop Website to make all Youtube options available to you.
Click on the Create button (the camera icon with plus sign) on the upper right.
Click Go Live.
You will enter Youtube Studio’s live streaming management interface.
Click Schedule Stream
If this is not your first stream, you will be prompted to Reuse Settings from a previous live stream or Create New.
We will create a new stream from scratch. Click Create New
The New Stream settings window will appear.
Enter your Title, Privacy Setting, Description, Schedule and Audience settings.
Click Create Stream.
Your new event will show up on the list.
Click on your event in the event list.
You will enter your live stream’s control room, where you can find your preview, stream settings, Analytics, streaming options and sharing tools.
