Bond 757 + Cube 725 + Core – Teradek – Technical – Point-to-Point via Core
PROBLEM
A customer in Australia experienced a jitter problem as a Cube 725 RX unit outputted a signal to a monitor through an AJA IO 4K Plus switcher. He had a point-to-point connection between a Bond 757 TX and a Cube 725 connected to a dedicated cloud-hosted Sputnik engine running outdated software versions.
SOLUTION
I found out that the problem started when the customer upgraded his decoder's firmware to the current version, which was 8.2.10 at the time. We upgraded his encoder's firmware to match the version that the decoder was running, and this solved the problem.
