Core’s new interface allows Social login via Google or Facebook to access your account. Social login is a form of single sign-on (SSO) that employs the user’s existing Facebook or Google login credentials to authenticate that user’s identity.
Social login not only makes it easier to access your Core account, but it also provides an added layer of security against hacking. Additionally, using social login makes it easier to add a new encoder or decoder to your Core dashboard by using a device code, as described in this article.
NOTE: If you use your Google or Facebook login credentials when you first create your Core account, you will not be able to use those same credentials to login to Core from any Teradek device’s web UI. To access Core from a device's web UI, you will need to use your email and create a unique password for your Core login credentials.
