You can add a supported Teradek encoder or decoder to your Core account by using a device code. The device code is generated by your device via the front panel or web UI. To begin, make sure your device has the latest firmware installed.
ADD A NEW DEVICE
- Log into your Core account and select Sources from the menu bar.
- Select Add Encoder.
- Select one of two options: Add using device code or Add by connecting to a server.
NOTE: Either option requires a device code.
USING DEVICE CODE
- Click on Add using a device code.
- From the device's front panel, navigate to the Cloud Setup/Cloud Settings menu and
select Core. - Select [Login] to generate a device code.
- Enter the device code in the text fields provided on the Core dashboard.
- Core will indicate whether or not the device was added successfully.
USING DEVICE'S WEB UI
- Click on Add by connecting to a server.
- Enter the device's IP address in your web browser. To obtain your device's IP address, press the menu navigation button downward one time. You can also find the IP Address under the Network Setup/Network Settings menu.
- Navigate to the Cloud/Cloud Settings menu and select Core.
- Click on Authorize Your Device, then copy or write down the code displayed. Return to the Core dashboard and enter the device code.
- Core will indicate whether or not the device was added successfully.
