We are happy to present a brand new overlay feature on corecloud.tv! This feature is available for all plans (including all legacy plans). For the ability to stream with adding overlays to your live streams, please go to the Overlay Studio where you’ll see 3 sections: Events, Overlays and Assets.
Step 1

Click the Overlay Studio menu, open the Assets tab and click Upload Image. It is important to add PNG or JPEG images. NOTE: PNG with transparency is supported by the overlays engine.
You can either drag and drop or select an image from your computer. Click Upload after selecting necessary images.
Step 2
Go to the Overlays section, click Add Overlay, fill out the Overlay setup, insert your asset in and position it using the Overlay editor.
Step 3
Next, go to Events and click Create Event, then fill out the event info.
IMPORTANT: events can use only H.264 inbound streams and the framerate must be between 15 and 60 fps.
Save and close.
NOTE: the event will launch in the stopped state in order not to incur extra costs while it is not in use.
Step 4
To start the event, click the Start Event button, go to the Layers section below stream preview and click Add Layer (you can add more than one layer per event). You can switch layers on and off before or during the live event.
NOTE: layers order is honored by the overlays engine. You can change layers order at any time.
Step 5
Once the event is started, go to the Inbound section and link a source - you can choose either Encoders, Inbound Stream or Helios Engine.
Step 6
Once you linked the source, you can add Channels, Decoders or Helios Engines as destinations. After you add the destinations needed, click Go live and enjoy your streaming experience with new Overlay Studio!
Step 7
When you are done, stop your live streams and then click Stop Event. At this point the overlays engine will be stopped. You will not be billed for stopped events.
Cost
Cost of using Overlays: $3 per hour (billed by minute)

I'm an existing Core user but I do not see the Overlay Studio tab in the UI. What do I need to do to light this up?
It seems like you have an old subscription, you should migrate to a new one
Will 2.0 pricing for data transfer be maintained for legacy customers who migrate or will the higher rate be required?
sorry for the delay,
If you migrate to newer Core 2.1 Plans, the pricing will be charged according to the plan.
I don't see Overlay option from within core app on iPad? Its only visible through the core TV web page. Why is that? I use the app for everything else!
I also don't see the Overlay Studio Button. I have a 2.1 subscription.
Instead of the Overlay Studio I see CoreTV. What can I do to get the overlay function?
When I create an overlay event via Quick Actions it doesn't appear anywhere.
