The VidiU (original), VidiU Mini and VidiU Pro have an encoded audio sample rate that matches the sample rate of the HDMI input source:
- If the HDMI source connected to the VidiU negotiates a 44.1 kHz audio sample rate, that will be used on the encoded stream sent out by the device.
- If the HDMI source connected to the VidiU negotiates a 48 kHz audio sample rate, that will be used for the encoded stream sent out by the device.
This encoded audio sample rate behavior cannot be adjusted on the VidiU, VidiU Mini or VidiU Pro -- there is no option to perform resampling from 44.1 kHz to 48 kHz or vice versa.
Only higher level encoders from the Cube, Slice, or T-RAX series can perform audio resampling of the input to a different encoded output.
