The Transcoding Engine allows you to convert HEVC video feeds to H.264.
In its current implementation, the Engine ingests your HEVC video feed and converts it to H.264. The transcoded video settings (bitrate, frame rate, etc.) are described in this article.

Select Engines from the menu on the left and navigate to the Transcoding Engines tab. Select Launch new Engine and pick a region closest to the location of the encoder you want to use this with.
Navigate to your device's web interface by plugging its IP address into your browser window. To find your device's IP using the OLED screen, press the black joystick downward one time. Alternatively, you can find the IP Address under the Network Setup menu. Click on Cloud Services on the left side of the page.
Make sure you are logged into your Core account. Select the Connection option to bring up a menu of available Transcoding Engines on your Core account. Select the Engine you wish to use.
To verify your encoder is associated with the correct Transcoding Engine, navigate back to the Core interface and select your source from the Dashboard or Sources menus. Under the Info tab, you will see the Engine your encoder is associated with.
