MK3.1 Receiver:
Current draw for the Receiver is approx. 20mA
The recommended supply is 12-15V, with a max safe voltage of 17V.
4s/14.8V lithium polymer (Li-Po) batteries come off the charger at approximately 16.8V. This is absolutely fine.
The system will function with reduced speed/torque down to approximately 8V.
At 5~6V the electronics will remain active but the motors won't attempt to move.
If subjected to a voltage over ~17.5V, the system will attempt to safely block it. It will also block reversed polarity voltages.
Motors:
Motors draw ~40mA idle, 200mA for average moves and up to ~1A peaks for accelerating stiff lenses.
Therefore, a 3-motor system will draw <2W idle. Normal operation will see peaks during fast moves around 15W.
24V:
Please be aware that the system cannot be run on 24 Volts ( 24v ).
There is a fail-safe mechanism which comes into play when a voltage of 18v or more is applied.
