It is suggested that the administrative password for the Link's Web UI is changed so that unauthorized users cannot log in to the Link and change settings such as the Wi-Fi network name, Wi-Fi network password, or disable the Wi-Fi network.
1. Log in to the Link's Web UI as described in this article.
2. Select System, then Configuration.
3. Under the Administrative Password section, type a new password. The characters you type will be obscured, but you can double check your entry by clicking the Show Password checkbox prior to saving the new password.
NOTE: the Show Password option will not reveal the current Web UI password that is set on the Link, it will only show the new password that is typed into this field.
4. Select Save & Apply.
You will not be logged out of the current session in the Web UI, but after you click Logout, or if you try logging in to the Web UI of the Link from a different device you must enter this new password.
