Configuration

The configuration mode on the Teradek device should be set to Automatic.

If the Automatic configuration mode doesn't work, you may also try the Custom > Ethernet option.

The built-in Wi-Fi hotspot on the E8372h modem may need to be disabled when connecting to a 1st or 2nd generation Cube, or to the original VidiU product line in order for allow the modem to be recognized by the Teradek encoder.

The hotspot functionality is disabled using the built-in web interface on each Huawei modem, please refer to the modem documentation for instructions on accessing the web interface.

NOTE: when using multiple Huawei E8372h modems -- or other Huawei "Wingle" branded modems which also create a built-in Wi-Fi hotspot -- it is recommended that you disable the built-in Wi-Fi hotspot on each E8372h modem.

Otherwise, multiple modems are creating up to (6) Wi-Fi hotspots in close proximity to each other when mounted on a Bond II or Bond Pro device.
