How to stream with a Cellular iPad with multiple encoders on a router

When running a iPad on a cellular network and a local router with multiple Live:Air encoders, Apple's iPad favors Wifi over cellular internet which stops the iPad from accessing the internet.  In order to remedy this, you must create a static IP address for the Wifi Connection.

  1. Go to Settings: Wi-Fi and click "I" button next to the Wireless Access Point you are connected to.
  2. Write down the IP address and Subnet mask of your connection.
  3. Press the Static button.
  4. Enter in the IP address and Subnet mask that you wrote down or for advanced users, specify the address you would like.  LEAVE THE ROUTER BLANK
  5. Press the "Back" button

Open a web browser to confirm you have access to the internet.
