If a 2nd generation Bolt 300, 600, or 2000 TX will not update the Controller firmware -- for example, it remains on version 3.4 instead of updating to version 3.5 or 3.6 -- please contact support@teradek.com with the serial number of the unit to set up an RMA.
In these instances, the Controller must be updated by Teradek directly and cannot be updated using the Bolt Manager software.
Once the update is performed at Teradek and the RMA is completed, the Controller firmware can be updated in the field using Bolt Manager.
