Not sure which Bolt model you have? Refer to this article.
The 1st generation Bolt 2000 system has the following two hardware limitations:
SD-SDI video formats
The 1st gen Bolt 2000 TX does not support SD-SDI video input formats, and the 1st gen Bolt 2000 RX does not support SD-SDI video output formats.
Workaround: a video format converter or video scaler must be used to convert between an analog 480i/576i video signal or a digital SD-SDI 480i/576i video signal, into an HD-SDI or 3G-SDI signal for the TX to recognize and transmit the video.
PsF / Progressive Segmented Frame video formats
The 1st gen Bolt 2000 TX can transmit a PsF video format, but the 1st gen Bolt 2000 RX will display the signal with a stair step effect / lines around areas of motion in the scene.
Workaround: a 1st gen Bolt 2000 TX can be paired with a 2nd generation Bolt 2000 RX to transmit the signal. There is no way to use a 1st gen Bolt 2000 RX with this video format without the effect being present.
