VidiU App displays "Warning : Your device recovery image has not been installed."

The VidiU App will display a warning message if your VidiU or VidiU Mini is missing the secondary Recovery Firmware when you try an update of the main firmware:

"Your device recovery image has not been installed."

At this time, Recovery Firmware must be manually updated through the Web UI of the unit.

1. download the most recent Recovery Firmware image (version 3 or later) to a computer on the same network as the VidiU or VidiU Mini. Recovery Firmware is available from the following link:

http://www.teradek.com/pages/downloads/#vudu

NOTE: do not double click or try to open the Recovery Firmware file, it will be uploaded as-is to the device.

2. access the firmware upgrade page of your VidiU or VidiU Mini unit.
