Why has my Core subscription changed?
Starting on March 1st, 2021, all legacy Core subscription plans will be migrated to one of our current offerings.
On February 1st, 2021, we sent an email to all Core users that described our intention to migrate all legacy account holders to current available plans. Customers had 1 month to get in touch with the Teradek team to discuss options before the platform automatically migrated their plan.
Monthly subscriptions will be migrated at the end of their billing cycle during the month of March. Annual subscriptions will be migrated in March on the day the original plan began (for example, if your annual plan started on October 12th, 2016, you will be migrated March 12th, 2021).
The remaining unused time on an annual plan will be prorated and refunded as Core credits, that can be used towards your new monthly subscription.
Key Changes:
Pay as you go plan: Using the Core 2.1 Basic plan, you only pay for the data you use. There is no monthly subscription.
How data is charged: Your new plan gives you designated rates for outbound data and server usage (Hyperion / Helios). We do not charge for inbound data coming into Core. If you stream large amounts of data per month, or require data processing / management on premise, please contact our Sales team for more information on an Enterprise plan.
On-premise Hyperion servers: The use of on-premise Hyperion servers is limited to Enterprise plans only. To learn more about a customized enterprise plan, please contact our sales department (sales@teradek.com).
Current Core plans are:
- Core 2.1 Basic
- Core 2.1 Plus
- Core 2.1 Pro
- Enterprise
