Core Collaboration Tools is a real-time communication platform within Core that facilitates discussion and feedback of video content being streamed through Core TV through a web browser, mobile app or Mac app. Currently, the toolset includes chat capabilities via text and voice.
To start collaborating with text and voice, you will need to first share a Workspace to collaborators.
First, create a Workspace from the Dashboard (the Default Workspace will not work for Sharing) and add all the streams and devices you wish to collaborate with.
Then click on the Core TV button on the left to enter your Core TV setup page.
Click on the Workspace you want to share. Your Workspace’s streams and devices will show up below.
On the right side of the screen, you will see a panel showing Users With Access.
In the Users With Access panel, enter one or more email addresses of the people you wish to collaborate with, separated by commas.
You can also add an optional custom note to your collaborators in the field below.
Under the Sharing Expiration tab, click on the dropdown menu to choose Never or Custom to choose whether to have collaborator access expire on a certain date or not.
If you choose Custom, you will be able to choose date and time of expiration from the calendar that appears.
Click on the Live Collaboration tab and click the Enable buttons to enable Text and/or Voice Chat.
To allow collaborators to interact, click Can Read & Write and/or Can Listen & Talk in the Text and Voice Chat sections respectively.
Click on the Watermark tab. Here you can enable or disable user watermark, which overlays the email of viewers and collaborators on the stream.
When you enable voice chat and send the invitation for the first time, you'll be billed $30 and have 100 hours of use. For more info please refer to the FAQ
Click Send Invitation to send emails with invitation codes.
A list of collaborators that you’ve shared the Workspace to will appear.
Users will be able to log in using the included code and links. Please refer your collaborators to our tutorials on logging on and viewing/collaborating.
