The Bolt 3000 system is able to use 20 MHz channel widths for wireless video transmission, allowing the use of more wireless systems in a single location, or a more robust link in challenging RF conditions.
All other 1st, 2nd and 3rd generation Bolt systems are limited to using 40 MHz channel widths.
NOTE: Before switching to 20 MHz channel width, make sure that a compatible video format is being used as described in this article.
The Bolt Manager program is required to change between the default 40 MHz and 20 MHz channel widths, see this article for the current download.
To change between modes:
1. Connect the Bolt 3000 TX a computer running Bolt Manager
2. Select Settings > Select Frequencies, and choose 40 MHz or 20 MHz
3. If you wish to limit the Bolt 3000 system to specific channels, they may be selected from the list
4. Once the setting is applied through Bolt Manager and the dialog box appears, power cycle the TX unit
When the Bolt 3000 RX units that are paired to the TX are turned on and establish a wireless link, they should synchronize their channel setting and selected channel list with the Bolt 3000 TX.
