The VidiU product line has a default keyframe interval (aka key frame interval, KFI, or I-frame interval) of 2 seconds.
This setting is used for compatibility with the majority of streaming video platforms (SVPs) and content delivery networks (CDNs) such as Facebook Live or YouTube Live.
The keyframe interval is not directly adjustable by the user; if an adjustable keyframe interval is required for a specific streaming service, products from Teradek's professional-level encoder series such as the Cube, Slice, and T-RAX allow this option.
