An iPad running recent versions of iOS can be connected to a wired Ethernet connection using a USB to Ethernet adapter and additional Apple accessories.
This same technique can be used for iPhone or iPod Touch units running Airmix Remote as camera sources for Airmix, our older Live:Air Action or Airmix Solo.
Using a wired Ethernet connection can help in situations where there is wireless interference or limited bandwidth that would otherwise prevent the use of the built-in Wi-Fi on an iOS device.
